Leaf Party
Our tree out front has so many leaves. Once most of them had fallen we raked them up and had a fun party jumping in the leaves. Above the kids are using whatever means to get them in a pile.
Sam raking leaves and Luke watching--cute boys!
Seth helping and below are pictures of the kids in the midst of their jumping into the pile.
Sarah's I took a little, oh well.

Baptism Photo Shoot
My sister Jessica was kind enough to take some pictures of Sarah in her baptism dress. Here are a few of my favorites!
Sarah Jewel's Baptism
Sarah had a very special day last Saturday. She chose to be baptized by her father. She had been looking forward to this day for a long time and was so excited that it was finally here. Here she is waiting for the program to start.
Her Primary teacher gave the talk and Sam, his brother Ben and his Dad sang and his mom played the violin for the musical number. Then we headed back to the font where her grandpas were the witnesses and Sam was able to baptize her. She was very nervous to go down in the water but as soon as she saw her dad all her fears were gone and she went right in. It was a very neat experience especially because as Sam said her name you could feel the spirit come in and I really felt like her great-grandmother (she was named for her) was there with us. Afterwards she got to put her beautiful dress on and was confirmed by her dad with her Grandpas, and her uncles Ben, Brad, Spencer, Ben, and Doug. It was so cute because she just kept saying that "she felt so good". It is so neat to see her so clean and happy!

Everybody that came. Thank-you to all of you for supporting Sarah and making the drive to see her baptized. We loved having you here :)
Sarah and her dad. So beautiful!
This is because I thought it turned out so cute. We had a popcorn bar for treats after our fabulous dinner (thank you also to all of you that brought food, it was so yummy)
Sarah's Friend Party
Man am I behind on posts! Anyway Sarah got to have a friend party so we did an animal theme and had some friends over. She was so excited to see this fellow. She didn't know that he was coming. When she walked out the door, her face did this:
She was so happy!! Everyone got a turn to ride him and they all loved it. While we waited we played games and the girls had a grand time :)

Girls Room Makeover
The girls have been wanting me to change their room for several months now. They have really wanted me to paint it all blue but I said no way. So through many months of thinking (and procrastinating) I finally got it done! Do you just love the blanket in the window :). Their blinds broke and I didn't want to put up new window treatments until I decided what we were going to do in their room, so we did this, so classy!!
Another angle.
TAAAA DAAAHHH!!!
The beautiful blankets my mom made below and the dresser I painted and antiqued. I do have to say I am quite proud of my paint job!
Grandpa and Grandma McIntyres
While Sam finished his classes in Boise I headed out to my parents to hang out with the kids, watch conference, make food for our football and have a good time. Up above, Emily and Luke helped me make these delicious cookies. Aren't they perfect for Halloween?
That night was also Homecoming for my sister Natalie. We got to see her "friend" pick her up. She looked so beautiful and the kids thought it was neat to see her so dressed up.
On Friday night and all day Saturday was really sick. Finally on Sunday she was feeling better so between conference sessions we ate pizza at her request and then I made these heavenly, chocolaty, sinful, yummy, to die for triple chocolate cupcakes.
Everybody singing to Sarah.
Opening presents.
My parents, for their grandkids 8th birthday, makes them a quilt (really I guess my mom makes it but my dad fronts the cash :). Sarah got hers and absolutely loved it. The colors are so pretty and match her room make over perfectly (pictures coming soon).
I just had to take a picture of these two boys eating their cupcakes. They loved the chocolate as much as I did. Aren't they so cute!!
Swimming
As I said in the last post, Sam had a CLE last Friday and Saturday in Boise. He got a hotel stay with it so we got to take advantage of the pool until Grandma came (my mom was so nice and took the kids back to her house so Sam and I could stay in the hotel--love it!)
The kids decided that wanted to try flipping into the pool. They were doing an awesome job so I thought I would take some action shots. Pretty cool, huh!
Just some more fun pictures from our fun day.
Sarah's 8th Birthday
Sarah turned 8 on Oct. 1. Wow!! I can't believe that it's already here, she has been looking forward to this for a long while. On the day of her birthday we had to go to Boise for a CLE for Sam so she was one lucky girl and got to have her presents in the morning. First we had her favorite breakfast:
Crepes with cream cheese filling, raspberries and whip cream.
Blowing out her candles.
One of her presents: a special necklace to go with her baptism dress.
A webkinz, her favorite pet of choice right now :)
We sent the kids to school for a little bit and then at lunch picked them up to head to Boise. While at the hotel (i love it when work pays for the hotel!) Sarah wanted to go swimming for part of her birthday and we had a fabulous time!
Sarah we are so excited that you are 8 and have chosen to be baptized. You are a wonderful part of our family and we love you.
