Randomness....

We had a combined Relief Society/Young Women's dinner one evening this month. The young women modeled the older sisters dresses from back in their day.
Sarah wore a wedding dress from a sister that was married in the 50s. We googled "freedom rolls" and did our best. I think they turned out pretty awesome.
Mostly I just can't believe this girl is that old!!
The days have been warming up so we are spending many an hour outside. It's been quite wonderful, I love when the sunshine comes out!!
Seth received his Life rank and 7 merit badges (hallelujah!!) at March's court of honor. So nice to have him deciding to move on some of these things.
Sam and were able to get away to Sun Valley for a weekend. He had a conference so I basically did nothing. It was so awesome--love those brief rests. Makes me glad I don't have it all the time because I sure wouldn't appreciate it when I did get it.
We went looking for a tie for Luke and found this amazing find. This cat thing is kinda getting out of control.
More warm days...the kids were enjoying the swing set while Seth was practicing his driving in the parking lot...are we seriously already at this point!!
Crazy I know, but hey I was driving for 6 years by this time but it seems like a whole different story when it's my child learning how to drive!
One of things we do for spring break is have an area of the house everyday and we clean every single part of it (vents, baseboards, cupboards, walls, fans, etc). The kids are not usually super excited about it the first day but after doing it now for a week they are pros and it is so nice to have such a clean house!!

Luke's Baptism

The big special day for this cute boy was March 7th. He was so excited for the day to come and he was so prepared. I love that we finally got it mostly right with the 4th but hey what do you do!!
This day turned out to be pretty crazy because everything seemed to all converge on the same day. But we got it shuffled and taken care of so we could spend as much as possible with him. Seth did have an Orchestra concert that afternoon but it was so nice to have our visitors be able to come support him also.
Sam baptized him and my dad, Uncle Dave and Uncle Brad (he had to go home before we were able to take pictures) confirmed him.  Sam' dad was admitted to the hospital the night before the baptism so we were super bummed that they weren't to make it.
The crew that came to the baptism and the concert.
So grateful for wonderful family members that come and are so supportive of Luke.
 Grandpa and Grandma McIntyre.
Aunt Natalie, Aunt Emily and soon to be Uncle Zac with Luke.
 Being silly.
Aunt Annalyn, Uncle Dave and Aunt Jessica came from Utah to spend the weekend with us also.
And can we say that we are so excited for these two crazies to get married. The kids loved having him here with Emily.
Sunday afternoon we took everyone that was still around down into the canyon. The water is pretty much non existent but it was fun to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful scenery.
And of course be silly--because that is just way better!
We also went to Perrine bridge and watched BASE jumpers. A lot of them had never seen it before and I forget what a novelty it is since we see it quite often.
This boy was attached to Aunt Annalyn's hip the entire weekend. He loves her and she loves him right back. It was so cute to see. He always wanted to be near her and go wherever she was going.
We spent the rest of Sunday making delicious gyoza for dinner, Luke really wanted to have everyone eat that for his special dinner, and playing croquet. A little cold outside but we managed it and it was a blast playing with my family that was still around.

What a great weekend we had with Luke and so grateful for his choice to be baptized. He is an amazing little boy and we love him so much!
