Oh my!! Seems like I haven't had two minutes to write anything down. We have been busy with many normal things. School and music takes up most of our days but we have tried to slip in a few fun things to do as a family.
The first weekend in October we headed down to Salt Lake to spend some time with the Beuses. We left Friday morning since Sam was able to get the day off and stopped off at Hill Air Force Base. We wandered around for several hours and had a grand time.
The kids were fascinated with all the different airplanes and there is so much to look at it, it's almost overwhelming.
Seth is way into airplanes and wants to be an aerospace engineer when he grows up so he was in complete heaven here.
Can you tell? He was so excited to show us this :).
We thought these mannequins were pretty funny and had a good laugh over them.
Luke couldn't get over the engines. That boy had to stop and look at every single one--which is why it probably took us so long to get out of there.
I love Luke's face in that one!!
After we were done we headed to Sam's parent's house. We went out to dinner with all the adults (so fun) and then it was back to the house for the BYU game that night. Most of the cousins came over too and the kids were in heaven.
They pretty much played the whole time and had a fabulous time. They love their cousins and all get along so well.
We were able to get tickets for the Saturday afternoon session. So Sam and I took Seth, Sarah, and Kathryn with us. Luke isn't old enough so we left him with the grandparents (which he thought was pretty awesome!). Our tickets were in the balcony so we were pretty far away but wow! what a great experience. It was neat to have the kids there and to partake of that Spirit.
Afterwards we headed home so Sam and Seth could go to the Priesthood session (Seth's first one). They went out to donuts all together and had some guy time. Seth said he really enjoyed it but was a little tired by the end.
Sunday we spent m ore time with family and cousins and watching General Conference. It was a lot of fun to be with family and hear our leaders speak.
