Friends

We have some really good friends here that are the best. Whenever we need to go out of town our kids go to their house and whenever they need to, their kids come here. All of our kids are the exact same ages except they have a #5.
My kids had been looking forward these 5 days for months. The kids had school off for 3 of the days which they thought was pretty awesome. Plus it was super warm outside which was awesome for me.
They were really good and we had a great time. Our neighbor across the street had two massive pine trees taken down one of the days and the kids were entranced for hours. Not joking. Luke and Braden stayed at that window the longest time and were in heaven.
2, really 2.5 of the days I got to go to Rexburg and then Boise with my family. Emily was graduating from BYU-I that Friday night, then it was a 6 hour drive to my parents to get ready for Emily to go to the Boise for her first time Saturday evening, and then home Sunday afternoon.
Sam was super, super amazing and kept all 9 kids so I could go. He is wonderful!! He even got them all to church by himself, fed, house pretty much in order, and had the kids all happy. Love that guy!
Don't mind the hand but this was the night this girl graduated with her bachelors degree.
Love these ladies...seriously we have the best time together (sure wish my other two sisters were there--sure missed them!!)
 The whole group of us.
 The cute girl.
Getting ready for dinner--I'm just the third wheel...sure missed my guy!
Had to put this up because every where we go we get called twins. What do you think?
Playing on the trampoline with the nieces.
The group of us at the temple. Love these people. What a wonderful experience it was to be in the temple with them!!

Easter

Happy Easter!! Sure it was at the beginning of the month but hey it was still happy and great at our house!! The Saturday before hand was super crazy so we decided Sunday was going to be our special, low key day.
The kids and I spent some time coloring eggs together. Luke is always so serious about his jobs, especially with that tongue sticking out.
 Sarah working at hers.
 Kathryn helping Luke.
Seth was also in there helping but he is a quick as possible so he could get back to what he was doing before hand.
The family. We loved having general conference on Easter Sunday.  It was so wonderful to hear from our prophet and apostles as we contemplated the sacrifice of our Savior.
After conference Sam hid all the eggs for the kids to find them.
And ignore the yard....we are in the process of ripping it out and putting in new grass...hallelujah!!
 Such a serious face...silly guy.
Captain thought it was pretty great to eat the candy that was spilled on the ground. He thought life was pretty stellar to have that treat!
 Searching, searching. searching....
We ended the evening by eating a fantastic dinner while have a wonderful conversation with the kids. I love that they are old enough to have opinions and really process the scriptures and gospel questions. They are not afraid to share them and it makes for great conversation with them!
So thankful for our blessings especially for the gift of our Savior. Amazing!

Spring Break--Zoo

I decided that since the kids had been since awesome workers we would make a quick trip to the zoo in Boise for one day of our Spring Break. That zoo is not the biggest thing in the world nor does it take long to go through but at least it's fun to get out of Twin for a little bit.
Luke was super fascinated with the monkeys. I think he could stayed there all day. They were super playful and it was so fun to watch them fight and play with each other.
This one just stared at us for a long time and it was beautiful.
The giraffes--they were super playful also. It was a good day to be there.
 Seth being Seth. Silly guy!

Playing on the playground for a little bit with all our friends that came.
These were a big hit. The kids thought it was pretty exciting to peek through at us.
Oh the joys of children. Love that!!

We ended the visit with everyone sharing some Dippin Dots...which the kids never fail to be over the moon about. Totally made their day to share two cups. What a great time we had with friends and with the kids. We stopped at Sonic on the way out of town to get drinks for everyone and then we headed down the road. Such a fun day!!

Girls Trip

At the beginning of Spring Break my mom stopped in Twin and picked me and the girls up to head to Rexburg for a quick girls weekend with Natalie and Emily.
We were so excited because Emily had gotten engaged the night before (so so excited for her!!) and we got to meet Mark, Natalie's boyfriend for the first time.
We checked into out hotel room where we talked, talked, talked and enjoyed being together. So fun to be able to steel away for these quick trips!!
We of course had to try the new pop place in town, Soda Vine, plus combine that with all the other drink cups and man did we look like we had a problem in that room....
 Wait maybe we do...haha...no way!!
Saturday morning we had went to Natalie's voice recital. She did amazing and so glad we could support her. Then we headed to Idaho Falls to look at wedding dresses.
Sarah and Kathryn were so, so excited to be able to do this with Emily. I am so thankful she was so thoughtful and wanted to include them.
We were so giggly and so excited for Emily. This is the first time I had been wedding dress shopping since my own wedding. It didn't work out to go with my two other sisters so this was quite the experience.
We had fun messing around while we waited for Emily to try on each dress. Kathryn tried the heels on and wow...doesn't quite match but love that smile!!
The best part is that she found THE dress which is awesome. It was absolutely gorgeous on her (not shown here because the fiance doesn't get to see) and she is going to look absolutely stunning in it.
What a great weekend we had. Love being with my two girls and two of my sisters and mom. What a blessing it is to have such a great family!!
