The Randomness of Our Lives

Things I don't want to forget....
Service project Mondays...I love how this perfectly shows the personalities of everyone...especially with their nasty gloves from picking up garbage.
Luke's first pack meeting...he is so excited to be starting this adventure.
Seth played with the Magic Valley Symphony this year and was able to sit right up front right next to his teacher who is also the concert mistress. We were finally able to see him and he did awesome!
So many recitals and concerts...so worth it!
Wednesday nights with these two beauties....everyone else is at mutual so we make a treat or finish homework or work outside and then we watch Fixer Upper. So much fun!! Love nights like these (:

The Magic Flute

The play this year has quite the story to it but needless to say it turned into a Reader's Theatre and the girls made the best of a difficult situation.
The play was written by Mozart was interesting but they always have a great time up there on stage. Both are naturals up there and love everything it involves.
Sarah was one of 3 muses and loved being a comedian. She did amazing up there and had a great time with a good group of girls.
Kathryn was the Queen of the Night and was quite excited to be evil. She designed and put together her entire costume. She loves the creativity of clothes (seriously those outfits of hers as a little is definitely paying off..haha).
She has the perfect voice for the stage. She is loud and has great diction. She was fabulous up there.
And made a great evil queen. Good job girls!!

Luke--Spring Soccer

Luke got to play soccer as the same time as Kathryn, literally every game but 1, so I was only able to see his very first one.
He still really loves to hang out with "the pack" but is learning to be more aggressive and get in there and get the ball.
He got to play on a team with lots of his friends and that was "super, super, super, super fun!"
(hence the talking in the back field....)
He got to play defense mostly and played awesome. He has improved a lot and its so fun to see him get so excited about playing.
Good job Luke!!!

Kathryn--Spring Soccer

Man does she love to make the weirdest faces!! But I love everything about this picture. Everything from her funky teeth to those eyes to that tape over her pierced ears. Silly girl!!
Sam and I got to coach her spring soccer team and it was a blast. I love teaching them how to have fun playing but also learn new skills and become aggressive but nice.
Some of these girls had never won a soccer game since playing in Kindergarten so it was so fun to see their excitement when we won our first game and 2 after that! (we only played 6).
Kathryn has learned to become an amazing defender and so skilled at passing.
Our team was THE BEST at passing and working together and that made it all worth it even when we lost games. Hardly any teams do that and it was so good to see them work together and help each other out for the the good of the team!
 Working on Defense.
Working on offense. She has also learned to run for much longer distances and that is so good to see. She is one muscly strong girl but is learning to be quick and aggressive out there and I love it.
Ahhh those squinty eyes...the sun must be bright!
With her medal and the awesome pose!

At the end of the season we also had a soccer party and we had told the girls that if they could beat Sam in two lengths of the field then we would buy them all pizza. 3 of them were so close, but maybe next year. So then we played a girls against parents game and had a blast. What an awesome group of girls we got to coach!!
