Soccer for Sarah this year was so much better. One of her teammates Dad, who has played soccer all his life, did a summer camp for two different weeks in the summer for all the girls that usually played. WOW! what a difference it made for Sarah. She was much more agressive, ran much better, and she understood what she was suppose to do.
Her best friend is also on the team, which helps, but we were amazed at how much she improved.
She would usually get at least one shot on goal a game, which is a huge feat for our children. No one in all their years of soccer has scored a goal--not even Seth and he has played for 6 years.
But she scored!!!! The bummer part--it was the one game I couldn't be at because of a RS meeting and Sam was away on a work trip. Dang it!! But she was way excited and were quite proud.
Playing goalie. This doesn't happen often because they have a girl who is an awesome goalie but she needed a break for a little bit.
