I had a fabulous Mother's Day and I hope that all you ladies did too! After dinner on Sunday (which Sam made all by himself, including a Peanut Butter Pie for dessert and doing all the dishes--what a great husband I have :) we went for a walk along the canyon. They have several miles of paved walk ways with look out points right on the edge of the canyon. It is so pretty and we had a great time. These are some pictures of the awesome views. Above is one of the waterfalls that a lookout looks over and the other is the view that you get from that same look out with the bridge in the distance. Below is a picture of the golf course that is in the bottom of the canyon. The picture doesn't do it justice for how green it is.
This is from the lookout point with the waterfall in the background.
Some developers recently built this dining/event center that overlooks the canyon and it has a restaurant inside that rotates 360 degrees every 45 minutes so you can look out on the view. We haven't tried it out because it is quite expensive but I keep telling Sam to tell his boss to have the Christmas dinner there so we can try it out :)
The kids playing on the rocks and all together on one of the many benches along the trail.
What a lovely picture of us. j/k! The kids made me put this one in, but I am not fond of pictures of myself!!
Oh the notorious wind!!!!! Since there are grates on the bottom of the lookouts the wind can blow up quite hard. It was blowing everybody shirts up and Kathryn's skirt. They sure thought it was so funny.
If you ever come our way we would love to show you the sights :)

So I haven't been to Twin Falls since I was 5. At the bottom of the falls is the river and the river leads to the city?
