Hope you all had a wonderful holiday celebration!
We got to attend some very fun bbqs with friends. The kids had lots of fun jumping, running through sprinklers, eating some delicious food, and playing many games of bocci.
On the 4th we took the kids rafting with some good friends. All the kids came and it was a perfect day for rafting.
Of course we had the mandatory potty break before we all climbed on the raft. Then we spent some time waiting for the vehicles to be shuttled back and forth. The kids played in the water and tried to catch crawdads.
One of Seth's friends came with us and also Luke's future wife. At least that is the arrangement we are trying to set up, hopefully he will be a good son and be obedient to his parents!
The section that we raft down has a nice calm stretch. Everyone got out and floated for awhile, even Luke. They are much braver than their mom. I just have this thing with not be able to see the bottom on what I am swimming in!
The kids thought the rapids were awesome and would "ride the bull". Luke would laugh and laugh through any part that splashed water on us and even got to "captain" the boat for awhile. He was very serious about it, can you tell?!!?
We made it to the end with lots of memories and only one minor sun burn!
