The kid's school did a grandparent's day last week and my parents were amazing and came up to be with them. The kids were so excited.
They got to see a assembly where the kids recited a poem about grandparents and the memorable lines being:
"...some are small,
some eat too much,
some are tall..."
It was quite hilarious. They also presented their school song, showed them around their classrooms, and
did even more things in their classes.
My parents were quite the troopers. They spent two hours in the morning with Sarah, Kathryn, and Luke and then two hours with Seth in the afternoon.
Ater school Grandma went with Kathryn to her violin lessons and with Sarah to her piano lessons while Grandpa hung out with the other kids.
Then we looked at their anniversary trip pictures and they took us out to dinner to some seriously yummy food. What a blast we had. Thanks mom and dad!!
