Christmas EveNight

Per 8 years of tradition, it was our turn to have the Barfi to our house for pizza, gift exchange, and reading the Nativity Story. The kids are always so excited and look forward for weeks to this event. We love getting together with these friends and it makes for a wonderful Christmas Eve.
The hat Seth is wearing is what he got in the gift exchange--he then promptly switched it with something else. Wonder why!!??
This year Maddi and Luke were wisemen,
 Sarah and Makayla were shephards,
Seth was as donkey, Kathryn was Mary, and Braden was Joseph. Sam read the story to us and yes he is happy, but I caught them right in the middle of singing a song. But I had to throw that picture in because I love Luke's little face, just singing his heart out!!
The violinists serenaded us while we sang, plus Sarah played a few songs on the piano also.

We ended the night with the kids opening their new christmas pajamas, writing notes to Santa, being super silly, and sleeping downstairs all together.

 Love these notes!! Haha...
Boy what a great day we had. Sam and I ended the night by listening to Christmas music while we wrapped presents and got everything ready. Love it!!
