Wedding Pics

My brother Spencer got married back in July and after a long wait we got out pictures.  I think they turned out well, here are some of my favorites:

Back To School

Can you believe that it's here?  I can't!  I was having a hard time believing we've reached another year of school.  I know it's cliche but I had a time today with all three of them gone all day.  Maybe it's because I am leaving tomorrow for an entire week and that's the longest I've been away from them and from Sam.  They were all excited to go, even after staying up late last night.  We were bad parents last night and let our kids stay up until 10 pm, what can I say, the BSU game was on and it was a nail biter (Yeah!! they won).

Anyway, here they are:

The Fair

We made our annual trek to the fair and we had a blast!  We always have lots of fun with the kids and here are some highlights:

watching the hypnotist (we were laughing so hard, he did a really good job and you couldn't pay me enough to get up there and do that),

visiting the petting farm (we got to watch baby chicks hatch and brought back lots of memories of raising chickens),

We had a picnic by all these old tractors and machines.  We couldn't keep Luke away long enough to even eat his dinner.  He stood and watched for a solid 25 minutes.  He absolutely loves that kind of thing.  We also visited the Ag building where they had this fun farmer and his wagon.

And lastly the animal barns.  Lots and lots of fun!

Walking Dogs

If you don't know already, my girls love animals.  Their top three favorites are horses, dogs and cats.  With some friends we took them to the animal shelter and let them walk dogs.  Their days were absolutely made and they loved it.  

By the way are you having weird weather?  It's been in the low 70's for a week now, not normal August weather!

Before school starts...

We have been trying to get all our playing in before school starts.  Last week we took a trip to Dierkes to play with friends, hike and have some fun.  The day we picked was in the low 70's so we didn't play in the water too much but it was nice to be outside and play.

These other two pictures are just random.  Our sunflowers bloomed and we have loved watching them.  One day I went to walk up the stairs and this is what I found. So cute!
