Hello There...

Wow, where have I been. I feel like I haven't been doing anything, alteast on my list of goals to accomplish. We have been so busy and I can't really see an end in sight. Man!!! So for my journal and so I can remember what is going on in our lives I thought I better do an update.
Mr. Beus is busy as ever. I am so glad that his firm is busy, especially in this economy. He finished his singing and basketball for the summer (Yeah and extra night to hang out, that is the hope anyway) and is focusing on getting back into shape.
I have been busy. I have gotten my garden planted--carrots, beets, lettuce, zuchinni, squash, cucumbers, onions, cabbage, potatoes, hot and bell peppers and 4 differents kinds of tomatoes--, plus flowers for the yard, city softball has started again, Luke to speech therapy once a week, keeping the house presentable for people to look at it, planning our ward's talent show, getting ready for our stake trek at the end of June (Sam and I are a Ma and Pa), planning our ward campout for a week after the trek, planning the food for our stake 24th celebration, trying to do the things I should be doing everyday (playing with the kids, scripture study, running errands, etc.), waiting for a foster child (I live in suspense everyday thinking they are going to call), worrying whether we should sell our house, build on or just stay put, and then trying to start my own catering business with a friend. Wow, what I am thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, if any of you have any great ideas for a name, leave me a comment, thanks!!
Seth has one more week of school and then he is done. I can't believe I have an almost 4th grader. He still loves to read and I can't keep his nose out a book unless I threaten to take it away from him (that only happens when he won't come to the dinner table, do his chores, etc)! He still loves to play the violin and is doing very well.
Sarah is almost done with kindergarten and can read quite well. She loves to get a book and sit next to me and read. I love it. She still loves her horses and points out everyone she sees in the car, not to mention that when we drive around and look at houses she always points out whether it would be big enough to have a horse. Funny girl!
Kathryn getting so excited for summer to be over so she can start school. She also loves to tell us her dreams, which can be quite funny and sometimes quite scary. Whenever we ask her to do something she responds with a very emphatic, SURE! It is so cute.
Luke is well Luke. He keeps all of us on our toes. Mr. Beus took him to Father/Son's last weekend and sure got a fill of him running off and getting into everything. We had him tested for his speech, which is only at about a 10% intelligibility level so he qualifies for speech and starts this Friday. Man here we go again. His is quite different than Kathryn's because he talks and babbles constantly, but you just can't understand most of it. Hopefully it won't take too long to get it better and most of all hopefully his tantrums will go down ten-fold.
Anyway, that is a little bit of us, if you read all this, thanks for stick-in with it!

And I thought my plate was full!!! Good luck with the catering. Who are you doing that with? Good luck!!! I'm probably the worst person to ask about names. Not much creativity in this here brain of mine:)
