So do you ever win things? Are you one of those lucky people? I'm not, but my sister sure is. And then if I do win something, it is always the worst one possible. I have only won 3 things in my life. The first was at my senior high school all night graduation party. They had enough prizes for everyone to win one thing. There was everything from money to bikes to tvs to gift certificates. Of course I win this set of cow dishes, I swear they were the cheapest thing in the store because they were so ugly. The next thing I won was a set of cookbooks. Okay that's not bad considering how much I like to cook, but these were the weirdest cook books I have ever seen. They had ingredients I had never heard of, let alone would have in my house and most of the recipes were just "interesting" to say the least. Then last Saturday, a friend and I went to a local girls day out and they had all these fun raffles, everything from grocery gift cards to a free sitting and 11x14 from an awesome photographer to gift certificates to restuarants to a package of scentsy candles. Of course I win the most "interesting" one, a mix for beer bread and strawberry rhubarb jam. I guess I shouldn't complain, at least I won, but maybe next time it will be something I can actually use!!

that's really funny! maybe the beer would cook out...i won a case of shasta pop at my hs graduation nite. i feel your pain!
