Of course I didn't take any pictures, I don't know what my problem is lately, but nevertheless we had a great weekend. Saturday morning we got the house cleaned so we would be ready for our guests. Sam's parents came mid-morning. We hung out, went grocery shopping and got ready for our ward talent show that night. Seth and I played our violins with Sam's mom, Sam sang the Star-Spangled Banner, I MC'ed and Seth also lip-synced and danced to a Brady Brunch song. We had a great turn-out and everyone said they had a good time, so Yay! I am glad to be done with one more activity. My parents and two sisters came late Saturday night so we met them at the Stake Center Sunday morning. Sam was ordained a High Priest by his dad with my dad, our Stake Pres and our Bishop. Then he was set apart for his new calling. I am so grateful that we were able to have our parents here and be able to feel that Spirit. We are both feeling not so overwhelmed anymore and are so grateful that the Lord blesses us and provides a way for us to do the things He has asked of us. We were all able to go to church together and share a very yummy meal afterwards. My parents had to leave and Sam's parents watched our kids that evening so we could go to an adult fireside in our stake. It was given by Elder Nielson who was just made a member of the 1st Qourom of the Seventy and he lives in our Stake. Anyway after listening to him and his wife speak, I blessed to be able to help the Lord anyway I can. He was called to be Bishop when he was 27 and his wife 24 and has been in a Stake Pres. or Area Authority Seventy since that time. She has had to raise their 6 children with him gone a lot. I felt very blessed by the Lord and so thankful for all He does for us.
Anyway we are so thankful for such a good family and ward that supports us and so grateful that they came to be with us this weekend.
