I know weird picture to put for a memory, but this little thing brought back many memories for me. You see I have this nasty little habit of cutting my fingers, especially when I am at my parent's house. It usually is never too bad, just requires a band-aid and away I go, but lately they are getting worse. Within the past month and a half I have hurt myself 3 times, the first with my food processor blade that cut my thumb pretty bad, after 25 minutes of bleeding decided to go the the urgent care center, bad idea. The PA after finally looking at it, got a little nasious and just decided to super glue it instead of stitching it. By the next morning the glue has fallen off and I just had to bandage it my self. A couple weeks later I cut myself with a knife. Okay not too bad, just bandage and go, well this time I wasn't even in the kitchen. I was opening up one of those metal scooters for Kathryn with one hand and as I flicked it open my poor finger got the tip taken off. This time I went to a friend who is a nurse to have her look at it. It probably should of gotten stitched but I was not about to go to the ER and that dang urgent care center again (plus I'm current on my tetnus so I okay right :) so we got the bleeding to stop, cleaned it out good and have kept it bandaged well. It looked scary at first but now is looking way better, plus the little flap of skin is now looking more pink than gray so hopefully no more accidents because at this rate the next will be even worse!
