Grandma came to town for a weekend of stuff. So good to have her hear. We started the night with Sarah's piano recital.
She played a duet with her friend Makayla called "Frightening Footsteps" (hence the costumes), and then her sonatina piece for festival.
She did a fabulous job and is getting so great at the piano. We love to listen to her play and sing.
Saturday morning was filled with 2 basketball games for Sarah and one for Kathryn. Whew so busy and so boring according to Luke but they played well and we had fun cheering them on.
Then it was on to Seth's orchestra concert. He tried out and made it into Chamber, which we were very impressed with. He also is now 2nd chair violin 2 which is amazing, especially because he can sit in the front row now and we can actually see him. Jokes aside Seth is learning to play amazingly and we are so proud of him.
Afterwards we went out to Cold Stone and ate some delicious ice cream and candy apples. Mmmm...perfect way to end a fun weekend! Thanks for coming Grandma (:
