The day after Christmas my sisters, parents and their families came to our house for a couple days. We were so excited to have them come our way, especially because my sister Jenny and her kids are here from Houston. We played many, many games of Telestrations--such a fun game and absolutely hilarious!!!
We spent the rest of the days keeping each other entertained. Katy and Kathryn made cookies in the No Bake Oven.
Grace was read every Christmas story book that was under our tree.
The boys did a lot of Mario Kart and movie watching.
We spent several hours at the gym playing volleyball, soccer, Ghost in the Graveyard, and anything that took our fancy.
Like being chickens and hatching eggs and
the frog hand game that I can't think of the name for and leap frog.
We played Telestrations so many times we had to go get new markers--oops!
Aunt Emily gave us that game and also an Ugly Sweater Cookie Kit. We tried them out and loved decorating them!!
Playing more games with the kiddos. Katy and Ryan got to stay a couple extra days so this was a constant at our house.
So was this--chores...they never end!
We also took everyone up to our favorite sledding spot in the South Hills.
The snow was even better than on Christmas Eve and we loved hanging out, even if it was freezing! Sisters are the best!!
Trying to get warm in the back of the van on the way home!
Kathryn with some of our visitors.
We also spent quite a bit of time building a jump to go off of. It was a blast. We all tried it out many times.
And had an absolute blast.
Even the kids tried it over and over again.
Trains are our favorite thing ever to do on tubes. We hiked the hill many, many times to try out another train.
Sam, Luke, and I on one tube. What a blast we had, even if it did take 2 hours to eventually make it up there. Between trying to fill up the tubes and icy roads we finally made it and had a great time!
