Sometimes life escapes me and then I have a realization...it's February!!! Not just that, but almost the middle of February. So crazy!! Especially since I haven't put up pictures for ages.
We have been doing lots of the normal with a couple trips stuck in on the weekends. Luke is getting ready to be baptized and says, "I am so excited to be getting baptized and having a birthday party. I am REALLY excited about my birthday but I know I should be more excited about my baptism." Cute boy!!
We have been working for about 8 months now to get the kids more self sufficient in the kitchen. The girls have really taken to it, with Kathryn telling me just the other day, "I like to cook. I didn't know that but I realized that I really do especially when I get mad. Cooking makes me feel better." I am the say way...dang that McIntyre gene!!
Sarah performed "Apostrophe to the Ocean" by Lord Byron for the Elementary School Poetry OutLoud Contest. She took first in 6th grade and did amazing. Kathryn got 4th in her class and was super sad but still out of 66, that is pretty awesome!!
She was so excited. I love to see that joy on their faces!!
Luke lost his first top front tooth and was thrilled, especially since it had been loose for at least 4 months. My kids hate wiggling their teeth and they take forever to come out. Kathryn on the other had 8 missing teeth, mostly on top. That girl sure has one gappy smile.
This girl saved her money and joined the ski club at school with her best friend. She has only gone once but she loved it and is in heaven. She sure comes home one tired girl but I'm so glad she is enjoying it so much!!
At the very beginning of February we headed up to my parents to see my newest nephew be blessed. They are moving across the country so we decided we needed to see them one last time. Saturday was Henley's birthday party at JumpTime so everyone in town headed over to play.
Man did we get sweaty and gross,
but we had so much fun!!
The boys got their late so they didn't get to come, bummer, but we sure enjoyed the craziness with lots of family around. We had bum wars, we saw who could bounce the highest, played dodgeball, and practiced our cartwheel capibilities--which our sadly lacking sometimes!
Emily brought her boyfriend with her so we could all meet him and get to know him.
Playing dodgeball.
And no trip is complete without a Wii dance party. We introduced Zac to it and it was quite hilarious to watch.
Saturday evening we had a yummy potato dinner to celebrate Sterling and used the time to cuddle him. Man new babies are the best!! What a great weekend we had. So fun to be with everyone!!
