Monday's Memory

It's Monday again, so here's another one. I don't know what got me thinking of this, but anyway...when Mr. Beus and I were still doing our undergraduate degrees, he was working at UPS in the early mornings and going to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would go to school on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. This way we didn't have to find a babysitter for Seth. It worked really well and Mr. Beus took good care of Seth so I didn't really think of the possibility of Mr. Beus being tired while I was gone. Anyway, SEVERAL years later we were talking about that time in our life. He says to me, "Did you know how much I would sleep while I was watching Seth?"
"No", I say. "Did you sleep a lot?"
"Um...well I would lock all the doors, turn on the TV and lay on the couch. I would sleep and doze off and on for 2-3 hours."
"Everyday while I was at school, you would sleep this much?"
"Most days," he says.
Wow was I shocked. I mean it's understandable when he was working so early in the morning, but I had not known that and I'm sure that's why he waited so long to tell me, so I wouldn't freak out. Good thing everything turned out fine :)!!!

I guess I use to do the same thing with Matthew when I'd get home from a full night shift.

We miss you. Glad you had a good spring break. Ours doesn't start for another week.
