Airshow

Some wonderful friends of ours coordinated and run a 5k for part of the airshow here. Luke was so excited to go and see everything. Sam, Sarah, and my sister Emily who was visiting was running in the 5k and the rest of us were volunteers.
The boys were a little distracted while we were setting up. Haha...love it!!
Luke adores Britney, one of Seth's friends. She is super nice to him and lets him tag along and he loves it.
One of the water stations was out on the runway. They shut down the runway for the 5k so we got to ride out in an army hummer to the station. I thought Luke might die of awesomeness, but he survived and was a trooper handing out water to everyone.
Sarah had never run in any kind of organized race before. She is really getting into running. Sam takes her twice a week in the mornings and she is super excited to run cross country this fall.
My sister Emily running like a super amazing woman.

So proud of these guys. Sarah did awesome, she walked only part of it and did amazing.
Enjoying the shade--it was kinda hot out there!!

As part of running and volunteering we got to stay and watch the night airshow. We wandered around vendors and army paraphenalia. Some little boy was super happy!

And somebody thinks he is pretty cool. Oh man those teenage boys!!
The kids even got to try and grab money for their savings accounts. Seth got the most and informed us it is a lot harder than it looks!!
 Sarah on her turn.
Luke trying his darndest to hang on to some of it (Kathryn was at a friends so she missed out :(
The airshow was fantastic. They started at dusk and it was a blast.
We ate our dinner while we enjoyed the view with some good friends.
The kids eating their ice cream as they watched.
He did this the entire time....not joking!!
Trying to stay warm after the sun went down with Aunt Emily. 4 of the crowded in a blanket sure kept things warmer!!
